De Gulden Poorte, dating back to the 14th century, has evolved from a historic monastery site into an 18th-century neoclassical city palace designed by renowned architect Jan de Vroey. Over the years, it served as offices and a bank before its meticulous restoration by LXRYHOME in 2024, blending modern luxury with historic charm. Highlights include a new slate roof, preserved wooden bank counters, sculpted ceilings, custom marble fireplaces, and a rare art nouveau lift. A true gem in the heart of Antwerp, De Gulden Poorte seamlessly merges past and present, showcasing its rich heritage.
